Richmond Telecom is excited to announce the NEW AVAYA IP Office release 6.1. With over 1.5 Million AVAYA Partner systems in the US at this time making it the largest small business brand in the market today. Due to the fact that there are so many systems in existence that AVAYA wanted to make sure that these customers had a way of protecting their investments but also allowing them the ability to upgrade the systems that they already own to take advantage of more advanced features and services.
AVAYA made this possible in release 6.0 but it had a few items that did not carry over the AVAYA Partner feature set. With release 6.1 all features carry over but it also allows more advanced features such as SIP trunking, PRI, multi-site networking, Unified Communication etc… Typically 40-60% of the cost of a new telephone system will be the actual telephone set devices. With Release 6.0 and 6.1, the partner telephones can be re-used but all of the other advanced features will be available by replacing the Partner system with the very affordable highly advanced AVAYA IP Office Telephony server.
